OREANDA-NEWS. July 4, 2011. In Moscow within the bounds of International forum ATOMEXPO 2011 in the presence of Mr. Sergey Kiriyenko,  General Director of Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and Dr. Steven Chu, US Secretary of Energy, JSC "Techsnabexport" (TENEX) an enterprise of  Rosatom and the U.S. utility PSEG Nuclear LLC signed mid term contract for supply low enriched uranium.

The contract with PSEG Nuclear LLC became the twelfth direct contract for the supply of Russian low enriched uranium signed by  JSC "Techsnabexport" with the US utilities under the Amendment to the Russian Suspension Agreement of February 2008.

Taking into account volume of the contract estimated at USD  200 million, total long term contract portfolio of JSC "Techsnabexport" amounts to USD 22 billion.
