OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2011. Adequate financial support and involvement of qualified specialists will introduce zoning in all areas of Ukraine for 1-3 years. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine Igor Sokolov during the round table "The Law of Ukraine "On regulation of city planning"- hopes and expectations of future of architecture" which was held on 30 June, 2006.

"Very soon we are going to introduce zoning in investment attractive settlements such as megacities. And by the end of 2015, this fundamentally new form of planning documents will be implemented throughout the territory of Ukraine", - he said.

In his opinion, during this time other provisions of the new law would be fully implemented by the Ministry such as: development and updating of city planning documentation at all levels of almost 30 thousand settlements and creation of the Service of the city planning cadastre.

"The introduction of innovations, proposed by new law will strengthen the fight against corruption, reduce bureaucratic pressure on the construction industry, increase the personal responsibility of real estate developers and significantly improve the investment climate in this area as a whole", - he concluded.
