OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2011. The European Union has granted more access to the export of Moldovan goods. The EU has exempted Moldova from customs fee on the export of goods, except for twelve agricultural goods, according to a press communique by the European Union.

The EU has increased the export quota for some of those 12 agricultural goods. Since March 1, 2008 Moldova has benefited from the Autonomous Trade Preferences, with the EU extending the duration of the aforementioned regime by 3 years, till 2015.

Thus, Moldovan wine-producing companies will have the right to export to the EU by 50,000 hectolitres more in 2011, up to 150,000 hectolitres. This quota will soar to 180,000 hectolitres in 2012 and to 240,000 hectolitres from 2013 to 2015.

The annual export quota for barley, corn and wheat will rise by 5,000 yearly from 2013 to 2015.
