OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2011. The city of Ufa is to host the latest regional round of the nationwide Business Success 2011 competition. Uniastrum will be there to present an award to the company winning the “Best Innovative Project” category.

The competition, which aims to find the best company in the region in 9 categories, will take place against the backdrop of the Russia-wide SME conference Business Success 2011 organized by the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization OPORA Russia, media group OPORA-Credit, and the Russian Bank for Development. Acting in its capacity of official sponsor, Uniastrum will award prizes to enterprises judged to be the best innovative companies in Bashkortostan, also offering them credit on easier terms.

The Business Success conference will bring together small and midsized concerns, government officials, the heads of OPORA Russia, as well as specialists from Russia’s biggest banks. Bashkortostan President Rustem Khamitov, the republic’s Prime Minister Azamat Ilimbetov, State Business and Tourism Committee Chairman Ruslan Kinzikeev, and Deputy Director of Russia’s Ministry for Economic Development Vladimir Melnikov are all expected to speak at the event. Uniastrum Bank will be represented by Svetlana Chubakova, Vice President for Small Business Development.

The conference will have a special area set aside for consulting services, and master classes are to be held for business owners and the heads of municipal entities. Visitors to Uniastrum’s display booth will have an opportunity to find out more about the Bank’s special SME options, obtain specialist advice, and apply for loans.
