OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2011. The Moldovan Hydroelectric Power Station (Dnestrovsk) received a new license for electric power generation from 6 months from the National Power Regulating Agency. The decision to issue the license was taken by the Agency’s Administrative Board basing on the enterprise’s application given the expiration of the previous license issued in early 2011 for the same period of time, it was informed at the National Power Regulating Agency.

The Moldovan Hydroelectric Power Station earlier was temporarily registered in Moldova’s state structures as the Transnistrian region’s economic agent. The license received by the Moldovan Hydroelectric Power Station gives it the right to generate and supply electric power.

Under the license’s terms, the enterprise may supply electric power to Moldova’s home market at tariffs, coordinated with the Agency and at negotiated price, not regulated by the Agency – abroad.
