KFW Allocates EUR 3,1 mn to Repair Infrastructure of the Crimea
OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2011. The Government at its session adopted the Regulation "On the signing of the Financial and Project Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (Agency for the project) and the KFW for 3.1 million Euro (the project "Promoting development of social infrastructure")."
According to vice Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko, which presented the draft of the relevant Act, a project "Promoting social infrastructure" has been realized since 2008 in Ukraine since 2008 and it will last until 2014. Financing of the project is carried out due to grants which are allocated by the Government of Germany in parts.
In particular, it has already been allocated two tranches, which are used to repair schools, kindergartens, village clubs, primary aid health centers, rural water supply and roads in Donetsk and Lugansk regions (7 million Euro), ARC (5 million Euro).
"Currently, it is reached an Agreement with the German side on allocation of additional 3.1 million Euro for extension of the specified works on Crimea", - said Sergiy Tigipko.
By the accepted order the Government approved the draft agreement and gave the right to vice Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko to sign the document.
