OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2011. The termination of a drought and intensive rainfalls have improved a condition grain and give hope for greater crop, than it was expected earlier because of long-term heat.

This was started by the First vice Prime Minister – Minister of the Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuev during the session of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine.

According to him harvesting early grain crops in southern and southeast regions already has begun. Andriy Klyuyev informed that total amount of harvest works on this group grain – 12.4 million hectares, from them wheat - on the area 6.8 million hectares. It is necessary to not miss optimum timeframes and to not lose the grown up crop. Therefore I ask to strengthen the control over a course of cleaning of bread ", - the First vice Prime Minister declared.

As he said the special attention should be turned on compliance with safety requirements of work and a fire security directly in the field of harvest and barn-floors.
