OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2011. Volumes of production of an industrial output for January-May have increased for 8.5%, in comparison with the same period of the last year.

This was started by the First vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andriy Klyuev opening the session of the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine.

According to him, production of metallurgical, chemical, machine-building production is increased; manufacture of goods of light industry also rises. Paces of growth - from 8.8 up to 22,5 %, - Andriy Klyuyev informed. To it, as he said, assisted not only a conjuncture of a foreign market, but also increase of a consumer demand. Retail turnover has increased for 15.5 %, the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine informed.

He also noted that the condition of the monetary and credit market is stabilized. For January - May the volume of a money supply grew on 6.4 %, the share of cash is 29%, the level of monetization of the national economy at the end of May - 49.3%, said Andriy Klyuyev. As he said, obligations under the involved deposits have increased from the beginning of year for 8.6%, including under accounts of the population - on 7.3%. For 5 months the quantity of the given out credits increased for 4.7 %, - the First vice Prime Minister told.

At the same time, according to Andrey Klyuyev, tendencies on delay of paces and even reduction of volumes of production of some types of an industrial output are observed. He noted that this concerns the dairy, confectionery, alcoholic beverage industry, manufacture of textiles and clothing, household refrigerators, printing products, as well as the production of coke and refined petroleum.

Andriy Klyuyev said that he instructed the central and local executive bodies: carefully analyze the situation in the sphere of production of these industries and to take necessary steps to restore high rates of economic growth.
