OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2011. The Agrarian Fund starts weekly tenders for the purchase of grain on 30 June. This was syarted by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Bezuglyi.

"Since tomorrow, the Agrarian Fund will hold weekly tenders for the purchase of grain. Tomorrow we have the first tender", - he said.

According to him

He said tenders will be held for the purchase of food wheat, rye and buckwheat at prices that were determined by the order of the Ministry.

"Overall, the Agrarian Fund, according to our calculations, can purchase in addition to 2 million tons of grain", - said Mykola Bezuglyi and added that the purchase of grain would be held in July and October of this year, and today the Agrarian Fund has purchased under the forward contracts about 900 thousand tons of grain.

"This year, the Agrarian Fund will be a serious player in the market, and while pricing the Agrarian Fund should pursue state-policy to prevent a sharp decline in prices during the harvest, which had observed almost all the past years", - Mykola Bezuglyi said.
