OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2011. KAMAZ demonstrated guests from the Republic of Azerbaijan new models of trucks, including vehicles running on compressed natural gas – methane.

The delegation from Azerbaijan headed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev arrived in Tatarstan with a working visit. Having met with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the guests visited JSC “Kazan Helicopters” to be shown industrial and engineering achievements of the republic. The exposition of KAMAZ and its partner producing CNG vehicles – OOO RariTEK – consisted of the whole range of various vehicles – trucks, buses, prime movers, special machinery on KAMAZ chassis. There were two cars with gas engines among them: a garbage truck MST-6963-10 on KAMAZ-65115-30 chassis and a city bus NEFAZ-5299-30-31. Advantages of the new special machinery were demonstrated cleanliness of exhaust from the CNG vehicles.

The Delegation of Azerbaijan, which, besides Ilham Aliyev, included Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mamedyarov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bьlbьloрlu, were impressed by the high level of technical equipment of all vehicles demonstrated by KAMAZ.
