OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2011. State-owned Budget Enterprise of the Penza Region (GKU PO) Kuznetskoye forestry expressed its gratitude to employees of Kuznetsk production department of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC for preparing and holding tree-planting activities in the forest section No. 13.

On April 23, power engineers of Kuznetsk joined the All-Russia event launched by IDGC Holding, JSC named “Employees of the power grid complex as advocates for environmental protection”. During several days the employees planted 6,000 young pine trees on a burned-out forest area near Vishnevka cottage complex. The total planting area is 3.3 ha. “Power engineers of Kuznetsk contributed greatly to preserving and increasing the forest resources managed by Kuznetks district forestry, by taking an active part in preparing and holding tree-planting activities as part of measures included in the “International Year of Forests” campaign”, reads the letter of acknowledgement.

The key objective of this event is to restore the natural balance that was upset during anomalous acts of nature during 2010-2011. The total number of trees planted by the working teams of the production department of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC amounted to 6,372 pcs.
