Belarus Defines Alcoholic Beverages Subject to Free Trade
OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2011. The Trade Ministry of Belarus has defined the list of alcoholic beverages that are not subject to the exclusive import right of the state by resolution #25, the head of the consumer market department with the ministry, Lyubov Yazepchik, told reporters.
The list includes five varieties of French-made champagne, some French and Armenian cognacs, seven whiskey varieties, four rum and four gin varieties.
Also on the list are grape wines priced over 10 euros per bottle.
Importers of such beverages are supposed to have licenses and charter capital in excess of 250,000 euros.
