Ukio bankas, being the first in Lithuania to introduce special program for smart phones with iOS (iPhone) and Android operational systems has expanded it with information on currency purchase and sales prices and a calculator. This new function will supplement the program that enables all smart phones’ owners to find the nearest Ukio bankas ATM or unit in all Lithuania, to find out its working hours, to choose the nearest route to it in fast and convenient manner.

„Having supplemented the program designated for smart phones we ensure a possibility for their owners to have access to the latest information on the currency purchase prices at Ukio bankas. This program and its functions may be used by everybody who have smart phones therefore it is useful not only to the residents of Lithuania but also - our foreign guests who are in need of banking services”, - said Jolita Kiaushiene, Director of Ukio bankas Electronic Banking Department.

The program that is convenient and simple to use is available free of charge for all smart phones owners. Selecting a Currency rate function on the smart phone’s screenshot, currency exchange rates presently valid at Ukio bankas are displayed. Selecting a desired currency, specially implemented calculator will immediately calculate the purchase or sales price of desired currency’s quantity. Changes of information and updates are sent automatically.

Program designated for the smart phones enables the user to find the nearest Ukio bankas subdivisions and ATMs in easy and convenient manner. Choosing the unit you may find out its working hours. Moreover, the program selects the closest route to the unit or ATM according to the location of the telephone.

Ukio bankas program is available for the holders of smart phones free of charge from Apple Store or Android Market. According to the data from various sources the smart phones with iOS (iPhone) and Android operational systems amount over 50 percent of the world’s smart phones’ market. The program created by Ukio bankas for the telephones will be constantly supplemented by other relevant information and functions.
