Russia and India Agreed upon Collaboration on Nuclear-Power
OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2011. Rosatom State Corporation and the Department on Nuclear Energy of the Government of India had signed a memorandum on cooperation with Indian Global Centre on nuclear power partnership, as the Interfax correspondent, present at the ceremony of signing, reported.
The cooperation implies a joint development of the educational programs for experts in innovational nuclear power systems, provision of nuclear and radiation safety and of the educational programs on the exploration and application of radiation isotopes and radiation technologies as well. Besides, a common training of the experts in the use of appropriate educative materials and technical devices would be performed.
The signed document also implies the assistance in development of international educational programs in the field of nuclear safety and the appropriate programs and projects with interaction with IAEA.
For the sake of realization of the projects, provided by the agreement, the parties would create a joint working group.
