OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2011. To ensure uninterrupted power supply for dispatch stations and dispatch and technological control centers, the Company has developed and introduced the “Program for installation of uninterrupted power supply system at dispatch stations and centers of SDTU (dispatch and technological control tools) of branches of IDGC of Volga, JSC.

Scheduled activities include installation of new diesel-generator units, systems for automatic start of standby equipment and uninterrupted power supply system (or replacement of the existing ones) to ensure uninterrupted operation of the equipment at the grid control centers, dispatch stations and critical substations.

Implementation of this Program will allow to eliminate downtimes during operation of power facilities and loss of control over the individual units of the power grid complex, and to reduce contingency-related risks. Installation of the equipment is scheduled for the period of 2011 – 2016.
