AS LTB Bank license is issued by Financial and Capital Market commission for credit institution operation. The Bank’s sole shareholder is one of the biggest Russian commercial banks – MDM Bank (Opened Joint Stock Company “MDM Bank”).

In April 2009 name of akciju sabiedriba „Latvijas tirdzniecibas banka” was changed – new name is AS LTB Bank. Change of Bank’s name was caused by its activity on international market, as well as by aspiration for corporate identity as it conforms well to the parent company’s name.
