OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC will be a sponsor and official insurer of Moscow City Racing that will be held in Moscow on July 17, 2011 by the walls of the Kremlin.

The company insured responsibility of the event organizer for damage caused to life, health and property of third parties (visitors, audience, and guests) for an overall amount of 15 mln. euro. Possible losses of the organizer connected with cancellation of the event are also insured for 2 mln. euro.

The department Ingosstrakh OJSIC Exclusive that provides premium insurance services will represent the insurer at the racing show.

This year organizers of Moscow City Racing changed the route to provide the event guests and visitors with more areas of free access to watch Formula One race cars. Spectators will be able to enjoy turns of racers from Borovitskaya square, Malyi Moskvoretskiy bridge and the neighboring streets. Vasilyevskiy Spusk that will become the central ground will be the main area of free access providing good overview of the racing and wide entertainment program.

The Moscow line of route will provide racers with several high-speed areas, carrying on traditions of Valencia, Singapore and Monte Carlo. Particularly, racing cars will be able to drive into the Big Moskvoretskiy bridge at the speed of 290 km/h and pass the Kremlevskaya embankment attaining the speed of up to 306 km/h.

This season a French racer Sebastien Ogier will participate in Moscow City Racing. He is the world champion in J-WRC 2008 in the award-winning team of the World Rally Championship – Citroёn Total World Rally Team.

Organizers will pay much attention to electric cars. The French company Formulec for the first time in Russia will represent a racing car with open wheels FormulecEF01, as well as a series of other sports electric cars.

„MegaFon Motorsport” team announces participation in heats of Mitjet sport cars, new racing cars that appeared in Russia this winter. Drifting fans will also be pleased, as a spectacular drifting show is prepared specially for them.
