OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2011. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Igor Makarov, Head of ITERA International Group of Companies.

Greeting the Turkmen leader and expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the businessman emphasized that the Russian holding was proud of long-term cooperation with Turkmenistan and keenly interested in strengthening these fruitful ties further.

Noting with satisfaction that in our country ITERA International Group of Companies had earned the reputation of being a dependable business partner, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also called for continuing collaboration that had resulted in implementing a number of important joint projects.

An exchange of views on the prospects of mutually advantageous cooperation given the social and economic development priorities of Turkmenistan took place during the meeting. The Head of ITERA International Group of Companies reported to the leader of the Turkmen state on the progress in implementing the projects, including in particular the construction of a fashionable hotel in the Avaza national tourism zone, and the fulfilment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions. In this context the sides harmonized the plans of bilateral cooperation for the short term and the possibilities to intensify effective business partnerships.

 Focusing on the willingness of the Russian holding to expand cooperation to meet the dynamic growth and high potential of the Turkmen market as well as the favourable investment climate in the country, Igor Makarov reaffirmed that ITERA stood ready to actively collaborate in new large-scale infrastructure projects initiated by the President of Turkmenistan in various sectors.

Upon concluding the meeting, the Russian businessman expressed profound gratitude to the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for granting confidence to the company and emphasized that ITERA would continue to apply efforts to implement the profound potential of collaboration and comply with its partner commitments.
