Russian involvement to Dalian partly explains the interest to this city from the Far Eastern tourists. And the city owes its birth to Russians, since it was initiated by the Russian Empire it was founded as one of the most important ports in the region.

It will be possible to see the preserved Russian architecture in Dalian from the first of July. Vladivostok Air will operate flights to Dalian from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. Departure from Vladivostok is scheduled on Fridays and Sundays at 23:40 and arrival in Dalian is at 22:55. The return flight departs from Dalian on Saturday at 00:55, arrives to Beijing at 06:00. Flight Khabarovsk — Dalian departs on Fridays at 22:00, arrives at 21:40. Return flight from Dalian departs at 23:20, arrives to Khabarovsk at 05:00.
