OREANDA-NEWS. June 23, 2011. Vega, the Ukrainian telecom group, has made its Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service available to a wider audience: Starting June 1, the Service, which was already in use by the company’s home users, became available to the company's corporate users.

The reason for the expansion was the company’s successful experience of providing services to home users. Subscribers appreciated the convenience of subscribing to the service (directly from their online account’s Private Area, without having to enter an e-mail address), as well as the ease of obtaining installers. The Dr.Web Anti-virus Service’s flexible billing options let Vega customers choose the conditions of use most preferable to them.

"Dr.Web Anti-virus proved itself to be a reliable tool for our home users, so we decided to expand our cooperation with Doctor Web and offered a similarly functioning service to our corporate customers", said Dmitry Melchenko, Vega’s head of product management. "The deployment went relatively quickly and has already yielded initial results: more corporate customers have started using our service."

The provider’s experts say that the service will become successful among corporate customers due to a series of factors. Among them, namely the low cost of service, the convenience of subscribing, server protection and Office Control, the ability to order the service directly from the workplace and for the required number of PCs and servers, and the way the service is automatically renewed.

Thus, organizations using Vega services have a convenient online service at their disposal. On a subscription basis, Dr.Web Anti-virus protection lets the provider's corporate customers organize an effective information security system at minimal cost.
