OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. PJSC EMAlliance opened a representative office in the Ukraine. The representative office will be located in Donetsk. Konstantin Smorochinskiy - Vice President, Export Sales, EMAlliance - was appointed its head.

The Ukrainian market is traditional for EMAlliance. At present, in power system and industry of the Ukraine more than one hundred boiler units with total capacity of more than 30 GW and manufactured at TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik, the main manufacturing facility of EMAlliance, are in operation. At present, in power system of the Ukraine EMAlliance is implementing the projects with total value of more than 1,5 billion RUR within the framework of modernization of Zaporozhskaya, Kurakhovskaya, Burshtynskaya and Starobeshevskaya TPP.

As per evaluations of experts, the Ukrainian electric power industry urgently needs the renovation and modernization of production assets today. First of all, it refers to TPP capacities. Capacity deficiency in heat engineering of the Ukraine equals to 8300 МW, and total capacity of market of power equipment for thermal power plants is more than USD 4.8 billion.

Konstantin Smorochinskiy noted that considering up-to-date needs of the Ukrainian market the peculiar features of which are well known to the specialists of the company, EMAlliance is ready to offer to the Ukrainian partners the state-of-the-art process and design solutions proven in practice and with references during new construction of power units. “Among priority activities of the representative office there can be pointed out the management of general contracting projects, as well as pre-contractual negotiations on engineering, fabrication and supplies of the boiler equipment for the purpose of offering optimum solutions for the power system of the country”, he pointed out.
