BCSE Informs about Foreign Currency Trade Totals in May 2011

OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. The transaction turnover in May 2011 amounted to Br 3 255.74 billion (Br 3 576.35 billion in April 2011). The May trade volume decreased 9.0 % compared to April.

USD 436.53 million, RUB 8 440.82million, EUR 106.28 million and other currency amounting to Br 7 594.697 million in equivalent were sold at the trades.

The unit weight of foreign currency in the trade volume was USD – 48.6 %, RUB – 34.0 %, EUR – 17.2 %, and other currencies – 0.3 %.

Average daily transaction volume amounted to USD 24.25 million, RUB 444.25 million and                      EUR 5.59 million.

May quotations changed as follows: RUB plus68.07 points, USD plus1957.00 points, EUR plus2688.00 points.
