OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. A new system of luggage handling and passengers check-in started operating in test phase at the airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo).

On the 20th of June the passengers departing with the flight 205 Novosibirsk-Noyabrsk of the air company “Ut air” were registered by the new system. In spite of the system operating in test procedure at the moment, passengers have no difficulties during check-in for the flight.

The new system of luggage handling and passengers’ registration, that is to be installed in the departure area of domestic terminal (Terminal A), includes 18 desks for passengers’ service (instead of 10 available previously) and more than 60 belt conveyors of different modifications. This new equipment of German company “SRK Baggage Handling Systems” will increase significantly the speed and quality of the airport service and technological procedures.
