OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. Kazakhtelecom JSC and Microsoft signed Memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation. Purpose of program document is to combine the experience of leading Kazakhstan telecoms provider services with world leader innovation technologies in software production.

In the process of realization of agreements, stated in the Memo, complex measures, which will allow Kazakhstan people getting access to Microsoft software use is specified. On the first stage of cooperation Kazakhtelecom JSC plans to launch such IT-solutions as Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange. “Implementation of these technologies will allow presenting to our users, MSB representatives, convenient instrument for business conduction, organization of documents circulation inside the company an creation of corporate portals”, - noted Marat Abilabekov, Chief Director for IT of Kazakhtelecom JSC.

Output of these products to "cloud" provides some advantages: there is no need to purchase server equipment, installation, setup an administering of a separate server for users. It is enough to order a service with selected parameters and start to use it. The system will define necessary resources for its functioning, at that administer issues and support will be under Kazakhtelecom JSC responsibility. It is necessary to note that Calculus will allow users gradually reduce the costs and for purchase of software, as payment will be made at moment of it use.

This step in joining traditional telecommunication services and innovation workouts in IT sphere is an example of realization of global world tendencies in Kazakhstan, parties are confident in it. "Microsoft and Kazakhtelecom JSC have a unique combination of experience in the sphere of implementation and development of innovation technologies, vision of future of telecommunication and information technologies, also realizing the importance of such projects for development of innovation economy of Kazakhstan ", -underlined Gunter Dam, Director General for "Microsoft Kazakhstan LLC.
