OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. Fujitsu today announced the opening of BooksV, an online e-book service that offers a wide selection of digital content useful for both business and personal lifestyles. With over 300,000 titles from which to choose, making it Japan's largest online e-book store(1), customers can find the information they seek quickly. Moreover, compatibility with a variety of platforms, including PCs, smartphones, and tablets, means users are free to enjoy reading their digital content whenever and wherever they find most suitable.

To commemorate the opening of this online service, Fujitsu is launching a BooksV opening sales campaign in which 20 e-book manuals, such as practical guides to PC operations and study guides for certification exams, available from the publication unit of Fujitsu FOM Limited will be offered free of charge starting today until July 10, 2011.

BooksV acquires contents based on a partnership with MobileBooks.jp, Inc., an affiliate of Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP), as well as from Fujitsu Group companies G Search Limited and the publication unit of Fujitsu FOM Limited. This allows it to offer a rich variety of digital contents across a wide range of genres, from literature to lifestyle and how-to publications.
