Mission of IMF Will Arrive to Ukraine for Extension of Negotiations
OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2011. Mission of the IMF will arrive to Ukraine for extension of negotiations under the program "stand-by" in September. It was declared by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at a briefing after opening the updated surgical block of The National Cancer Institute.
"We have planned the program of our actions, and I think, that in September mission will arrive to Ukraine to consider all issues of the program of cooperation", - he told.
The Head of the Government reminded that on Friday the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Fedir Yaroshenko and the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuriy Bojko in Washington have carried on negotiations with a management of the IMF. In particular, they had meetings with alternate director of the Operating director of the International Monetary Fund John Lipski and the head of mission of IMF to Ukraine during which the plan of measures within the limits of cooperation of Ukraine with IMF had been discussed.
Mykola Azarov emphasized that Ukraine carries out all arrangements with the IMF under the program of cooperation.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that the Government does the best for stabilization of a price situation and prevention of increases of paces of inflation.
