OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2011. Company "Lenta" has been awarded in the nomination "Most dynamical taxpayer of Saint Petersburg". Tax returns in the city budget in 2010, due to the contribution made by each employee to the common business, prosperity of the company, have grown for 162 %.

It is the seventh year when the major taxpayers have been awarded in St.Petersburg. "Lenta" has received this honorary award for the first time. In 2010, tax deductions from proceeds of the company’s activities to the city budget facilitated solving the major social and economic problems, development of the municipal infrastructure and improvement of life quality of the population.

At the award ceremony, Valentina Ivanovna noted, addressing to the companies’ managers: "Your achievements today are even more valuable, because, together with the city, you have successfully passed the hardship of the economic crisis, gained most valuable experience, and saved your working teams ".

The first twenty taxpayers have provided 15 % of the overall budget of Saint Petersburg for the year 2010. They included organizations with annual volume of taxes of about 900 million rubles and higher, which duly pay taxes and submit reports to taxation authority.
