OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2011. In the course of XV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” and Caisse des Dйpфts et Consignations (CDC) signed Amendment Cooperation Agreement.

The document was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and Director of European and International Affairs of CDC Group Laurent Vigier.

The Agreement is aimed at establishing partnership in order to enhance the development of trade and economic relations between the Russian Federation and France and financing projects, implemented in the Northern Caucasus, including Sochi Winter Olympic Games projects and implemented by OJSC “Northern Caucasus Resorts”.

This Amendment Agreement was signed further to and for the purpose of fulfillment of joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarcozy made on May 26, 2011 in Deauville relating to the issue of cooperation in implementation of the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Northern Caucasus.
