OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2011. Ukraine will have a functioning land market in 2012, President Viktor Yanukovych said, speaking at a joint Ukrainian-Slovak business forum in Bratislava.

According to President Yanukovych, land reform in Ukraine "has gained irreversible momentum." "All the legal framework is ready now that will allow completing the work on land reform this year, and ensure that since early 2012 Ukraine would have a land market," he said.

The President expressed the belief that land is a resource that will work to attract investment. "This is a resource that will allow us to develop rural infrastructure," he said.
