Honda Announces Quarter-Midget Contingency Program for 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2011. Honda Performance Development (HPD) has released details of a new support program for Honda competitors during the 2011 USAC and QMA race seasons. HPD will be offering "HPD Bucks" to 1st- through 3rd-place finishers in approved classes and races.
"We are excited to be able to expand our support of quarter midget racers through the Honda Racing Line," said Marc Sours, HPD general manager. "Historically, Honda has supported the quarter-midget community via support to the racing series. We are now happy to complement that support by reaching out to the racers directly."
To be eligible for support, all Honda competitors must be enrolled in the Honda Racing Line program and display the required "Honda Racing/HPD" and "H" decals on their race vehicles. Registration for the Honda Racing Line is available at http://racing.honda.com/hpd/race-for-honda/registration.aspx, or through USAC and QMA sanctioning bodies.
Administered by HPD and American Honda, incentives will be distributed following the completion of these USAC 25 events:
The Milwaukee Mile, Wisconsin (June 18, 2011)
Battle at the Brickyard, Indiana (July 9, 2011)
Dirt Nationals, Ohio (September 24, 2011)

Western Grand National, Washington (July 2, 2011)
Eastern Grand National, Indiana (July 30, 2011)
Dirt Grand National, Illinois (August 12, 2011)

HPD's payout structure will reward 1st- through 3rd-place finishes in the above-mentioned events and classes, as follows:
1st: USD 150 HPD Bucks
2nd: USD 100 HPD Bucks
3rd: USD 50 HPD Bucks
