OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2011. Moscow Domodedovo Airport has become the winner of Euro Annies in the category "Airport with the Most New Routes ".

The Euro Annies Competition, organized by the information-analytical portal anna.aero, is conducted among European airlines and airports. The winners are chosen by experts of the portal based on the performance of the companies.

In the category "Airport with the Most New Routes ", the number of new routes for the period from August 2010 to August 2011 was estimated. The figure of Domodedovo Airport was a record among European airports and has made 22 new routes, including such destinations as New York, Miami, Palanga, Ankara, Istanbul, Bergamo, Brno and others.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport has the largest route network among the airports of the Moscow Aviation Hub, consisting of more than 240 destinations, 90 of which are unique ones.
