OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2011. The Saint-Petersburg branch of SOGAZ Insurance Group has insured construction and installation risks of CJSC ROSENGINEERING (Saint-Petersburg), a company participating in the erection of Sochi Olympic facilities.

SOGAZ will insure the company’s construction and installation operations “against all risks” associated with the erection of the Mountain Tourist Center of OJSC Gazprom in Krasnaya Polyana, including the Official Reception House, the mountain Olympic village, ski slopes, a combined ski and biathlon facility, an artificial snow-making system, cableways, a mountain hotel complex, etc., on an area of 65 hectares. The insurer’s liability limit is RUB 31.7 billion. CJSC ROSENGINEERING’s risks have been insured for five years including a warranty service period.

Pursuant to another contract SOGAZ will provide insurance coverage for design, survey and construction works to be undertaken by CJSC ROSENGINEERING in the erection of 3S ropeway from the confluence of Mzymta and Pslukh rivers to the finish zone of Roza Khutor mountain resort and from the finish zone to the mountain Olympic village. The works have been contracted by SC Olypmstroy. The insurance contract has been signed for a term of three years with a coverage of RUB 4.2 billion.

The 3S circular three-rope way has been designed with account of the most extreme operating conditions that call for a maximum degree of reliability. ROSENGINEERING is currently the only company implementing a project of this magnitude in Russia.
