OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2011. The Xinjiang branch of COSL Engineering and Technical Institute has recently completed a training program on drilling operations for 38 staff from North China Petroleum Bureau of China Petrochemical Group Western Engineering Company (“Western Engineering Company”)

This is the first external training program conducted by COSL Engineering and Technical Institute since it was established three years ago. The program adopted advanced modular teaching methodologies specifically designed for the drilling profession, and had achieved outstanding results. The Human Resources Manager and the Drilling engineering technical personnel of Western Engineering Company have confirmed the acceptance of the 38 staff’s academic achievement in drilling operation skills. The staff, meanwhile, expressed their endorsement on the Institute’s rule-based and standardized operations, safety management and teamwork establishment. Both sides have agreed on further resources sharing initiatives to create more room for effective staff training in an effort to speed up upgrading their skill levels to satisfy training requirements in various operation units.
