Moldova and Romania Sign MoU in E-Communication Field
OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2011. The Moldovan National Agency for Regulation of e-Communications and Information Technologies (ANRCETI) and the Romanian National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) today signed a memorandum of understanding, meant to facilitate the cooperation and the exchange of information in the e-communications field. The document was signed today in Bucharest.
The main goal of the memorandum is to set the necessary framework for the cooperation and information exchange between the sides, in the field of regulation and supervision of the e-communication. The document also provides for the carrying out of joint actions and exchange of experience, in order to promote the competition and the legitimate interests of the end consumers, in consistency with the best communitarian and international practices.
The memorandum envisages the objectives, the fields and the cooperation tools between the sides. Among them are the creation of the expert groups, the organization of mutual consultations and expertises, the exchange of professional information and documents. In line with the provisions of the memorandum, the Moldovan and the Romanian sides will hold annual meetings to review the attained progresses and to discuss ways to boost the cooperation.
