OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2011. Russia preserves its plans concerning the wide NPPs construction abroad.

Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Government and Chairman of Rosatom Supervisory Board Igor Shuvalov announced in the course of Atomexpo-2011 International forum.

 “We consider the nuclear technologies to have a great future. Russian government invests enormous sources it the technologies. Of course we will make efforts to sale our power units in large amounts abroad and we will do that both by ourselves and in partnership with our foreign colleagues”, — he said.

 As Rosatom State Corporation Director Sergey Kirienko had stated earlier, in the next ten years the nuclear power industry will be an essential condition for the world economy development. According to his words, the nuclear power branch will remain “the most important engine for the humanity innovational development”, since nuclear technologies are now used in such leading spheres as outer space exploration and the development of medicine.
