OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2011. Aleksandr Kucherenko was appointed HR Director of DTEK. Mr. Kucherenko has been working in the Company since 2009, firstly holding the position of the Deputy HR Director and later – the Acting HR Director.
 
Aleksandr Kucherenko is responsible for all processes related to managing human resources of the Company: personnel recruitment and planning, developing the personnel remuneration and motivation system; elaboration and implementation of personnel appraisal and development programmes; implementation of the programme on interaction with higher education establishments; managing and developing the corporate training and knowledge centre– DTEK Academy; creating DTEK’s talent pool and successors’ training programme; internal communications.
 
Before joining DTEK, Mr. Kucherenko held the position of the Head of Training and Development Department at Raiffeisen Bank Aval, being responsible for the bank personnel’s T&D and FARBA Corporate University; earlier he had worked for UNILEVER and INBEV.

Aleksandr Kucherenko graduated from Cherkassy State Teachers’ Training Institute, majoring in Russian Language and Literature. In 1995, he graduated from the Institute of Public Administration and Self-Governance at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the Master’s Degree in Public Administration. In 1991-1996, he studied Economics and Sociology in Manchester University (the UK). Later Mr. Kucherenko took a PG course at the Public Administration Academy at the Administration of the President of Ukraine and in 2001, he defended his thesis on ‘Public Administration’.

Service-Invest, DTEK Energougol ENE and the associated Donetskoblenergo Company, where DTEK holds 30.6%, represent the electricity sales and supply business of DTEK.
 
DTEK also holds a 39.98% stake in Kievenergo, a company generating and supplying heat and electricity.
