OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2011. Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (POWERGRID), the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India, has signed an MoU with Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). Sh V M Kaul, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID and Dr. H Chaturvedi , Director, BIMTECH signed the MoU in the presence of Sh S K Chaturvedi CMD POWERGRID and other senior officials from POWERGRID and senior faculty members from BIMTECH, Greater Noida.

The MoU tie-up is on multiple aspects and would bridge the gap between academia and the Industry. The collaboration would be in the areas of Consultancy, Research Projects Case writing, Conferences, Continuing education and veritable learning. POWERGRID would be utilizing the excellent intellectual resource and infrastructure of BIMTECH to facilitate development of human capital and BIMTECH would advise POWERGRID in its various areas of talent and organizational development.
