OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2011. Ukrainian Airlines will establish air communications between Stuttgart and Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Stuttgart, in addition to Hamburg and Dusseldorf, is to become Germany’s third city, from which the largest Ukrainian air carrier will provide carriages to its Kyiv hub – Borispol airport.

The airline will start development of the new route with four flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Boeing 737 and Embraer 195 aircraft will be operated on the line. Duration of flight between the two cities will be about three hours.

Extension of AeroSvit’s presence in German market is the evidence of growing demand for travels from to  as well as to other Eastern destinations. In particular, new flights will provide service for business passenger traffic from Baden-W?rttemberg, the region with a strong economy, to ’s capital and largest industrial centers of this Eastern Europe country – Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv. Carriage with AeroSvit flights via Kyiv to Ukrainian cities of Simferopol, Odesa, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk – resorts of the Black Sea shore and Carpathians – will become an incentive for leisure tours from Stuttgart.

Besides, network of AeroSvit’s flights will connect Stuttgart with other destinations of the airline’s international grid, including Almaty, Astana, Kostanai, Baku, Tashkent, Erevan, Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Tel Aviv, Moscow, Novosibirsk and other cities.

The new route is also available to passengers from other cities . To fly with AeroSvit, they can get to Stuttgart with Deutsche Bahn’s high-speed trains. Train can also be taken on the way back after arrival to Stuttgart from Kyiv. Joint program of AeroSvit and Deutsche Bahn for intermodal Rail&Fly и Fly&Rail carriages has been in effect since May 2006 and covers all AeroSvit’s flight destinations in .

Schedule of flights

on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, the schedule envisages departure from Stuttgart at 16:05 with arrival at Kyiv at 20:00 local time. Inbound flights will depart from Kyiv at 13:20 local time and arrive at Stuttgart at 15:15.
