OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2011.  JSC “Sumy Nasosenergomash Plant”, being a part of the HMS Group, has successfully completed hand over-take over acceptance tests of high precision lathe machining center of 700XLY model made by Doosan Infracore Co. (South Korea).

This powerful center is designed for integrated machining of shafts being a key part of pumps. The parts with length of up to 5 m can be machined there. Utilization of the center in manufacturing process would enhance accuracy of surface machining, decrease pump manufacturing cycle and increase production output of special purpose pumps by the company.

The HMS Group allocates considerable resources to increase process equipments level of the factories affiliated with the Group. To this effect, in 2010 the Group commissioned the Schiess Vertimaster VMG 1.35 portal type machining center at JSC “Sumy Nasosenergomash Plant”. Upgrade of manufacturing facilities policy pursued by the Group enables the HMS Group to successfully cooperate with the leading Russian companies operating in oil, gas and power industries.
