OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2011. Stavropol Regional Arbitration Court confirmed legitimacy of the decision and determination issued by the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Stavropol region (Stavropol OFAS Russia) regarding “Mukomol” OJSC, “Agat” KFKh” Ltd., “Petrovskie Nivy” Ltd. and two individual entrepreneurs, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Commission of Stavropol OFAS Russia established that in July – August 2010 the above economic entities simultaneously and in a uniform manner exercised concerted actions aimed at fixing and maintaining economically unjustified flour prices, which on average increased by 2000-2500 Rubles per ton.

On 18th January 2011, Stavropol OFAS Russia found that “Mukomol” OJSC, “Agat” KFKh” Ltd., “Petrovskie Nivy” Ltd. and two individual entrepreneurs violated Clause 1 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

The enterprises filed a lawsuit challenging the decision of the antimonopoly body. Stavropol Regional Arbitration Court confirmed legitimacy and reasonableness of the conclusions made by Stavropol OFAS Russia.

“Prompt ascertainment of facts and timely investigation of the case has enabled us to reduce prices and normalize the situation on the flour markets in the Stavropol region”, said the Head of Stavropol OFAS Russia, Sergey Nikitin.
