OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2011. TATNEFT participated in the 19-th International specialized exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technol-ogies-2011", which was held in the city of Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan). The Com-pany was awarded a diploma and a cup for high professionalism of the presented display, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.     

The exhibition "Gas.Oil.Technologies-2011" was held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The exhibition had been organized by the Bashkir Exhibition Company and the Trade and Industry Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The credibility of the event is confirmed by the multi-year cooperation with leading industry associations and unions: Union of Russian Oil and Gas Producers, Union of Gas and Oil Equipment Manufacturers of Russia, Association of Oil Refiners and Petrochemists of Russia and the Russian Union of Chemists.

Leaders of the oil, petrochemical, gas and energy industries of Russia are among the regular participants of the exhibition. About 90 companies took part in the exhibition for the first time. More than 360 enterprises from 35 regions of Russia and foreign countries presented their displays.

The business program of the event included the oil and gas forum with plenary sessions and work of six topical sections, conferences, round tables, poster presentations on the most relevant subjects.

The exposition of TATNEFT presented advanced technologies developed and imple-mented at the Company. The technologies presented include innovative designs and technologies to ensure efficient operation of the fields. Presented at the display there were chain drives manufactured by Bugulma Mechanical Plant of OAO TATNEFT applied instead of traditional sucker rod pumping units, the system of dual completion and production of two or more layers through one well, allowing to simultaneously operate the targets with different characteristics and reservoir properties.

The Company’s display included corrosion-resistant pipes (MPT, PPT, NKTP, ZPP, and SPT), oil well tubing of increased leak-tightness (pipes, joints). These innovations are ap-plied at TATNEFT in the frame of large-scale efforts to ensure environmental safety dur-ing oil production.

The exhibition visitors’ interest was also attracted by the materials documenting the pilot development of bituminous oil deposits and about products obtained after processing ex-tra-viscous oil.

The display also featured the products of TATNEFT’s tire manufacturing complex and the ones of Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno (fiberglass) factory built in the framework of a joint project of TATNEFT and the German Company Preiss Daimler-Group.
