OREANDA-NEWS. June 9, 2011. Branch of Ingosstrakh OJSIC in Kaluga has become a partner of the events dedicated to the visit to Kaluga of one of the most famous fashion designers of the world – Frenchman Pierre Cardin.

The Maitre of fashion shall bring to Kaluga a musical and two new collections of clothes at a time. "Casanova" musical, for which Pierre Cardin has designed and created all costumes, as well as emerged as a producer of a play, shall be presented at the fashion designer’s own theater Espace Pierre Cardin. The demonstration of musical shall take place on the stage of the Kaluga Regional Drama Theater on June 8. The play involves young actors from Italy and France

On the next day, at the site before the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky a spectacular show in the open air shall be performed – demonstration of new collections of Pierre Cardin. It is nearly 350 models from "Four Seasons" Collection and entirely new costumes, some of which are devoted to the 50th Anniversary of a flight into space by Yuriy Gagarin. It is no mere chance that Kaluga has been chosen to host the show of new collections – the founder of modern cosmonautics Konstantin Tsiolkovsky lived and worked here since 1892. The unique exhibits of the museum shall serve as decorations to a defile.
