OREANDA-NEWS. June 08, 2011. The second berth with the length of 257 meters and depth of 11.5 meters was put into operation at the container terminal of CJSC ”Fourth Stevedoring Company”. Putting of new berth into operation has increased the quay line up to 477 meters.

Using all its equipment the container terminal of CJSC “Fourth Stevedoring Company” can handle 2 vessels simultaneously.

Reference: The first handling of cargoes after modernization of capacities of container terminal at the territory of CJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” took place on December 25, 2010.

At the present moment the terminal works with the following lines: Team Lines, APL, Sea Connect, Maersk, MSC, Delta Shipping Lines.

This handling facility is equipped with 4 STS and 10 RTG cranes, fork-lift trucks with the lifting capacity of 3 tons and the other technological equipment.

Since putting into operation the volumes of handled cargoes at the terminal have amounted to 24 650 TEU (as of 25.05.11).
