ABBYY®, a leading provider of document recognition, data capture, linguistic technologies and professional services, announced the appointment of Bill Kouzi to the position of vice president of sales, distribution group for the United States, Mexico and Central America regions. Kouzi will be responsible for the management of the Americas regional distribution teams for ABBYY USA, with the goal of continued expansion of the company's distribution and retail channels.

Kouzi brings more than a decade of senior sales and management experience to the ABBYY USA executive team. During his tenure at Visioneer, a leading intelligent document scanning solution provider, Kouzi pioneered markets across Latin America, Canada and Asia Pacific, earning four consecutive Channel Chief Awards from CRN's Everything Channel for effective global partner program execution. He also served as the VP of global sales at Laserfiche, an enterprise content management solution provider, where he helped to double international sales in a twelve-month period.
