OREANDA-NEWS. June 08, 2011. A symposium was convened for Chinese-funded institutions of the central enterprises by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of China’s State Council in Perth, the capital of West Australia, reported the press-centre of MCC.

The conference was presided over by Director-General Wang Yong of SASAC. Over 30 officials and representatives participated the conference, including Director Wang Xiaoqi of SASAC Planning & Development Bureau, Director Peng Huagang of SASAC Research Bureau, Director Lu Zhijun of SASAC Foreign Affairs Bureau, officials of China’s Consulate General in Perth and representatives of 10 central enterprises’ subsidiaries in Perth.

At the meeting, the enterprises’ representatives reported the business exploration in the West Australia. On behalf of SASAC, Director-General Wang Yong conveyed the best regards to the staff of central enterprises in Perth. He also put forward expectation and requirements on implementing the global presence strategy by the central enterprises in Australia. Upon invitation, Vice President Huang Dan of MCC Limited, Chairman Zhao Debao of MCC Mining (West Australia) (Pty.) Ltd. and General Manager Wang Jianxin of MCC Australia Holdings Pty. Ltd. (MCCAH) were present at the meeting.
