Astana Will Host TransitKazakhstan 2011 Exhibition

The issues of further enhancement of the transport infrastructure, which is a constituent part of integration development and strengthening of international relations within the human society, are extremely pressing today.

33% of TransitKazakhstan 2010 exhibitors participated in the exhibition for the first time; 55% exhibited their innovative services/products/equipment. Geography of the exhibitors: 65% – foreign companies, 35% – domestic companies;
86% of the exhibitors emphasised that they have established advantageous and challenging contacts; 11% stated that they have signed contracts and letters of intent directly at the exhibition;
2,800 professional visitors were registered during three days of the exhibition: 89% represented domestic companies and 11% – foreign companies;
According to the questionnaire results, 89% of the respondents visit TransitKazakhstan 2010 every year, 80% represented companies looking for further business and production development;
When asked what they expected from their participation in the exhibition, the respondents answered as follows: 84% – establish new business contacts; 57% – assess market conditions; 61% – maintain existing business relations; 49% – obtain information about innovations; 30% – obtain information about their competitors’ activities; 14% – participate in the workshops and presentations.
