OREANDA-NEWS. June 07, 2011. Air Moldova airline has signed electronic interline agreement with "Air China" (CA) Limited (STAR ALIANCE member since December 2007) that already came in force, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The agreement will allow each of the parties to sell transportations on routes of other party using electronic ticket. Before that there was only one possibility - by issuing paper tickets. This procedure is rarely used and basically eliminated by worldwide airlines.

Air China is the leading Chinese airline – national flag carrier. Air China’s hub in Beijing is a key Asian gateway. The company’s route network comprises of 42 international destinations and 81 local.

Air Moldova airline flies direct to 19 destinations - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Munich, Kiev, Varna and Antalya, offering to its passengers two Class of service - Business and Economy.

From May, 31st Air Moldova opens new destination – Chisinau-Sochi. Flights will be operated on comfortable aircraft Embraer 190 two times per week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays from Chisinau and on Wednesdays and Sundays from Sochi. Tickets start from 57 euro (all taxes included).

Air Moldova is the biggest Moldavian airline and it has more than 50 % of air transportations registered on the national market.
