Power Machines to Supply Equipment for CCGT-220 Unit of CHP-12
OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2011. Power Machines are to produce and supply basic and auxiliary equipment for the combined cycle gas turbine unit rated at 220 MW (CCGT-220) of CHP-12 operated by Mosenergo OJSC.
Under the terms of the contract signed by Power Machines and the main construction contractor, the power engineering company is to produce and supply a 160 MW GTE-160 gas turbine, TZFG-160 and TZFP-80 turbine generators rated at 160 MW and 80 MW respectively and a 73 MW T-56/73 steam turbine (the latter is to be produced by Kaluga Turbine Works OJSC, a part of Power Machines Concern) as well as auxiliary equipment. Power Machines’ specialists also supervise installation activities and participate in comprehensive set test runs and warranty checks.
Delivery is scheduled for Q4 2012 – Q1 2013.
The new machinery is designated for the 220 MW combined cycle gas turbine unit being built at Mosenergo’s CHP-12, which provides electricity to central districts of the capital city. Currently, its installed power capacity amounts to 408 MW and its thermal output – 2,043 Gcal/h.
The project to construct the CCGT-220 Unit at Mosenergo’s CHP-12 is being implemented under the 2010 capacity supply agreement and is aimed at upgrading power generation facilities in Moscow region. The main construction contractor is Mosenergo TPC, OJSC.
