OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2011. The insurance company ROSNO is providing assistance to the Russian holders of travelers’ insurance policies who has been hurt at the popular Turkish resort Bodrum during a yacht excursion. A group of representatives of the Russian tourist agencies got poisoned by a low-quality alcohol provided by the local excursion organizers, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The assistance company Caliptus, ROSNO’s partner in Turkey, organized the transfer of the victims from Bodrum to Antalia, to the hospital of Akdeniz University, by medical aviation. All patients got full non-intoxicational infusion therapy. The state of health of 10 of them was recognized as satisfactory, and they checked out from the hospital. One of the victims (Victoria Nikolayeva, born in 1988) is in critical condition in the intensive care department. Unfortunately, another victim, Aigul Zalyayeva, born in 1991, died on 31 May, despite all efforts made by the doctors. Currently, ROSNO is preparing repatriation of the deceased woman’s body to the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is scheduled for 03 June.
The employees of the insurance and assistance companies are in permanent contact with medics who continue fighting for the life of Victoria Nikolayeva, as well as with the relatives of the deceased woman, and with representatives of the RF Consular Service in Antalia.
