OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2011. The national commission of regulation of electric power industry of Ukraine continues to develop alternative power.

Licenses for manufacture of thermal energy from nonconventional sources (a fuel granule) have been given for two companies: "Octan Termo" and "VPC".

"Octan Termo" carries out production of thermal energy as a result of combustion of wood, and "VPK" uses a fuel granule.

Both companies carry out production of thermal energy on own equipment. This thermal energy is used for heat supply of consumers. The installed thermal capacity of "Octan Termo" – 2.58 gigacal per hour, "VPC" – 0.602 gigacal per hour.

Besides it, besides the license was given for "Octan Termo" also on delivery of thermal energy.

Assistance to progress for similar heat production companies will allow to lower volumes of consumption of natural gas and the price for thermal energy for consumers.
